AH. My favorite holiday. For so many reasons. All listed below. I like lists, can you tell?

REASONS MAL LOVES THE 4TH OF JULY:

  1. I love America, obviously, (I would have moved by now if not). I feel like this goes without saying but I am pretty proud to have been born and raised in the U S of A.
  2. Summer is my favorite, despite the temperatures wanting to kill me. I really do still enjoy this season. Whenever I feel a heat stroke coming on, I just think about January and winter and misery. Works like a charm.
  3. July is also my favorite month because I am biased. (Birthday is July 20th, take note)
  4. From kindergarten through 12th grade, I attended the same school. Our school colors were (yes, you guessed it) RED, WHITE and BLUE. College was no different because HOTTY TODDY, GO REBS, OLE MISS, ETC, ETC. It’s literally in my blood to enjoy a good red, white and blue outfit. This will never change.
  5. FAMILY TIME is the best time. There is no greater place than a southern cookout in your own backyard, drenched from the canon ball contest you just lost to your older brother.

Need I say more? So, whatever your 4th of July looks like, I hope you enjoy it. And if you don’t celebrate 4th of July because I know a lot of my fellow bloggers I have met on here live in London/England in general, then consider these suggestions for your outfit when you come to Oxford and go to an Ole Miss football game, because that is something that you should do. Check out all of the pieces above. You can plan your red, white and blue wardrobes for the next 5 years. (:

Love how this outfit strayed away from the typical stars and stripes apparel for the fourth. The 4th is one of my favorite holidays as well. Happy early birthday!

In the midst of all the school parties and programs and the Santa pictures, there were reindeer pancakes and hand painted ornaments and memories I will truly cherish forever. And a rebel playoff game will not surprisingly go down as one of my favorite experiences (I think ever?! Soooo special). 🤍
