Today was good, great actually. I’ve been in such a great mood these last few days; and I have no idea why. You know when you kinda get caught up in all of the things (big and small) that make up your life? Well that’s exactly what has happened to me lately; and I’m finally getting past it. When things start to get busy, I just kinda shut down and start procrastinating, which is really saying something because I procrastinate on like a normal day. Anyways, I have been diving back into all of the “mallory” things such as my music and blogging and everything in between. I’ve gotten to this point where I love being around people constantly, which is foreign to me in a way because I used to love my alone time. But over the last year, I have willingly sacrificed my seclusion from anyone and everything. The only problem is that I used to blog and write music and work on my shop all in my seclusion. I am pretty independent when it comes to all of this. So, now that I have realized all of these things about myself, I am learning to balance my time with friends and let in a little more time to myself, like right now for instance. I mean I’m not alone, you’re here too.

In other news, I recently got back from some time in California. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen some of my photos, but I have so many more to share in the next few days. I miss the soft sunsets, flying cyclists, sandy streets, and windy mountains a lot now that I am back. Hopefully, I will call that place home in the next little bit. I also miss Disney Land because I tend to leave my heart in happy places like that.

I ran this morning, still haven’t showered. Then, I went walking on a trail with friends, still haven’t showered. Then, we played tennis, still haven’t showered. And then I did Pilates. Such an active day. Ha. But yeah, I need to shower now.

And with that I will leave you. Go enjoy your Saturday night babes.

xx

I’ve been feeling the same way! I’m also usually someone who enjoys ‘alone time’, but lately I’ve begun to spend more time going places and spending time with friends rather than staying cooped up on my own. I totally get what you mean about finding that perfect balance between the two (: Awesome post, Mallory! xo Olivia

In the midst of all the school parties and programs and the Santa pictures, there were reindeer pancakes and hand painted ornaments and memories I will truly cherish forever. And a rebel playoff game will not surprisingly go down as one of my favorite experiences (I think ever?! Soooo special). 🤍
